Your trial and your licence

Bloomingo is free for 14 days from the first time you open it, with every feature and no card. After that, your boards stay readable and you can export them; to keep editing, you buy one licence, once, for every device you use.

While you try it

Everything works. Nothing about the trial interrupts you: no pop-ups and no emails.

• Settings › Licence says how many days are left, with Buy Bloomingo and I already bought it.
• From 5 days before the end, the sidebar says so too (“5 days left in your trial”, down to “Your trial ends today”), with Buy.
• Once you sign in, every device of your account counts from the first one’s trial.

When the trial ends

A banner at the top says “Your trial has ended. Your boards are safe, and you can still read and export them.” Until you buy, Bloomingo is read-only:

• You can open, move around, select, search and copy everything, and export it (Settings › Import and export).
• Typing, adding, moving, ticking and deleting don’t happen; trying says “Buy Bloomingo to keep editing.”, with Buy, at most once a minute.
• Settings, your devices and sync still work, so changes made on a licensed device still arrive.

Buy and unlock

1. Choose Buy Bloomingo in the banner or Settings › Licence, or Buy in the sidebar. Your browser opens the buy page, and the checkout opens over it.

2. Pay with the email address you want the licence to belong to.

3. Back in Bloomingo, choose I already bought it, enter that email address and Send code.

4. Enter the code from the email. Bloomingo unlocks and says “Bloomingo is yours. Thank you.”

Unlocking signs the device in but leaves sync off. To sync, choose Turn on sync in Settings › Account and devices; it doesn’t ask for another code.

Note

A device that’s already signed in with the address you bought with unlocks by itself, within moments if Bloomingo is open, or the next time it checks, at most a day later.

How many devices

One licence covers 5 devices at once: computers, tablets and phones alike. A device you haven’t used for 60 days stops counting, and so does one you remove in Settings › Account and devices. If a sixth asks, Settings › Licence says “This licence is on 5 devices.” with Open account and devices.

Signing out of a device lets its licence go; signing in again with the same address unlocks it again.

Students

Students buy Bloomingo for $39 on the students page, with a school email address: Bloomingo sends a code to it to check. Each school address can buy one student licence.

Refunds

If Bloomingo isn’t for you, you can have your money back within 30 days, with no questions asked: reply to your receipt, or find your order at paddle.net. Your devices find out the next time they check, and Bloomingo turns read-only again, with “Your purchase was refunded.” in the banner. Your boards are safe, and buying again brings editing back.

If you never buy

Your boards stay on your devices, readable, for as long as you like. If you turned on sync, the encrypted copy on our server is deleted 30 days after the trial ended; we email you a week before. Your devices keep everything.
