Plan study days on a board, not a grid

Put lecture notes, a reading list and a 25-minute timer side by side on today's board. Each module or project gets a board of its own.

Bloomingo on a Mac: a project board called Thesis, with a Reading section holding a reading list and a note of quotes, a Chapter 3 section holding a task list, a note and a sticky note, the two joined by a line, and an Interviews board beside them.
When to start

Each day of term opens its own board

Every date on the calendar opens its own board, so each day starts clear. Make a board for each module, and put this week's reading on the days you'll do it.

A new term

Make a board for each module. There are no templates to choose and nothing to set up.

Exam season

Give each day the few topics you'll revise, with your notes beside them on the same board.

After a week away

Open today and start from there. Past days stay as you left them, and nothing turns red.

Your study plan and your day, joined

Put a task from your thesis on Thursday, and it shows on both boards. Tick it once, and it's done on both.

The Chapter 3 list on the Thesis board, where First draft: 4,000 words is marked as also on Thursday 15 October.
On the Thesis project
Today's task list, My tasks, with Read chapter 4 for Tuesday, and First draft: 4,000 words marked as also on the Thesis project.
On Thursday 15 October

Study and the rest of your day, on one board

A day holds more than coursework. Reading, a first draft, the gym and a call to the bank can sit on the same board.

Set a 25-minute timer next to the work, and join it to a task to give it the task's name. Lecture notes open in a side panel, with headings, lists and checklists, while the board stays in view.

Tasks and timers
Thursday 15 October's board: My tasks with Read chapter 4 for Tuesday and First draft: 4,000 words beside Call the bank before 4 and Gym, a note, a sticky note and a running clock in a section called Launch week, and the day's timeline.
