How we write and check what we publish
Posts, guides and comparison pages on this site follow the rules below. A person checks every fact before it goes up.
By the Bloomingo team. Last updated .
The Bloomingo team writes everything here
Posts, guides and comparison pages are written by the Bloomingo team at Doddle Software Ltd, the company that makes Bloomingo. Each one carries the byline “By the Bloomingo team”, the date it was published and the date it last changed.
Every post starts from a real question and real sources
- We write about questions people ask about planning, and answer them step by step.
- Facts and figures come from the original source wherever we can find it: a study, official documentation or a company's own pages. We link to it.
- When a post shows Bloomingo, the screenshots are the real app. Every step was done in the app before we wrote it down.
- Before a post goes up, a person reads it against its sources.
AI tools help with research and editing, and a person checks every fact
- We use AI tools to find sources, summarise long papers and tighten sentences.
- A person checks every fact an AI tool gives us against its source, and decides what goes in.
- We never use AI to mass-produce pages, or to publish pages that only rephrase what others have written.
We make Bloomingo, so comparison pages say where other apps are better
When we compare Bloomingo with another app, we have a conflict of interest: we make one of the two. Each comparison page says so. This is how we keep those pages fair:
- Every fact about another app is checked on the day we publish, and dated.
- Each page says where the other app is better, and who it suits better.
- We use an app ourselves before we compare it or include it in a list.
- We check the facts again at least every 6 months, and update the date.
- If you work on an app we compare and something is wrong, write to us. We'll check it and fix it.
Posts about ADHD and brain fog are practical, not medical advice
- Some posts are about planning if you have ADHD, or just a lot on your mind. They share practical ways to plan. They are not medical advice, and each one says so.
- Any statement about health links to a clinical or scientific source.
- We describe what helps in practice. Bloomingo doesn't treat anything, and we never say it does.
- For anything about your health, a doctor or another qualified professional is the right person to ask.
Mistakes are corrected in the open
- If you find a mistake, write to hello@doddle.software.
- We check it, fix it and change the page's updated date.
- When a correction changes a fact, a note at the end of the page says what changed and when.
Pictures show the real app
Every screenshot of Bloomingo is the real app. We don't use stock photos of people, or illustrations made to look like the app.
